I Will Never Leave You.

Key Verse: Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. # Deuteronomy 31v6
In our lives, the love for the things of this world and the deceitfulness of riches, trials and tribulations causes us to lose track and seek solace at the wrong places and in the wrong things.
During these situations we turn to move away from God and assume that God has moved away from us. But God never leaves us. No matter how bad the situation, no matter how void we feel, no matter how much people accuses us, God never leave us, even when we move away from Him. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [Romans 8v35]
God never left Daniel and the three Hebrew boys in the lion’s den and the fiery furnace respectively; He never left ‘prostitute’ Rahab to perish in Jericho, He did not leave Job to his fate and He will never leave you.
Priscilla Owens once wrote “we have an anchor that keeps the soul, steadfast and sure while the billows roll, fastened to the rook which cannot move, grounded firm and deep in the saviors love.” On Christ the solid rock we stand!
God has assured as on countless occasions [Psalm 23v4, Hebrews13:5, Isa 43:21 kings 8v57, Ps 91v14, Isa 41v17, Joshua 1v5, Duet. 31v8] that when we pass through the waters, He will be with us; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow us: when we walk through the fire, we shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon us, for he is with us; His rod and His staff will comfort us. God will never leave us nor forsake us.
