Whose Report Will You Believe?

Key Verse: Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?...#Jeremiah 32vesrse 27
In Numbers chapter 13, God instructed Moses to send some men on a reconnaissance mission to observe the land of Canaan [the promise land] and bring back a report. This was the report ten of the men who were sent on the reconnaissance brought. "…... the land truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. Nevertheless, there we saw the giants and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” Numbers 13 verse 27-31
It’s very significant to note that it was God who commissioned the reconnaissance mission, and hard to imagine a report more skeptical and faithless to God than this. In short the report of ten out of the twelve member reconnaissance team was simple; all the land is taken up; there are no opportunities for us.
God has proven time and time again that He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think of, however because of our divided allegiance, we put our faith in things that are seen rather than the unseen promises of God and like the sea we are blown and tossed by the challenges of life.
Today, child of God let’s raise a faithful objection like Joshua and Caleb ‘Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, "Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it." [Numbers 13]
Joshua and Caleb demonstrated the spirit of Romans 3:4[“Let God be true but every man a liar], and exhibited the believe of Numbers 23:19[God is not a man, that he should lie.]
It took great faith and bravery for Joshua and Caleb to stand against the tide of unbelief, of doubt and ‘the Nevertheless attitude’.
It’s not easy to believe the unseen promises of God in this challenging economy like ours [Ghanaian economy], BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
