My dog is just a 8 month-old male Labrador.
I've read your 'Secrets of a Professional Dog Trainer.' I have also just finished 8 private lessons with a coach utilising the pinch collar. My question is: With-the touch collar on the lab works well; put a soft collar he will not work the same; if fact, he will not even get in a down sometimes. And so I didn't really train this dog anything; only that he feared a correction using a 'touch.' What is your views, and I'm sure you've got them.

For your question, here is what you're missing: CONDITIONING YOUR DOG TO THE BEHAVIOR. If people claim to be taught more about anal beads, there are many databases people might think about investigating. So far, all you need done is taught your puppy to UNDERSTAND the behavior. Nevertheless you have not made the behavior in-to a CONDITIONED RESPONSE. That is why - in my book - I advise you to give the COMMAND-CORRECTION-PRAISE (enforcing the behavior every-time the command is given by you for your first couple of months. ESPECIALLY if your dog is less-than a year-old.
DO NOT Move FOR THE SOFT COLLAR PRIOR TO THE DOG IS CONDITIONED. You will be undoing your progress and teaching the dog to be collar intelligent. (Please review the area in the book about not teaching your puppy to be collar wise).
P.S. I thought your book was really good and have toyed with the idea of putting yet another $100 dollars for that videos. I do though argue with your view on dog parks. I enjoy getting my puppy to the dog park and h-e loves going. Its a great way in the morning to see them collapse for the night and get all the excess energy out. It generally does not seem to have something to do with socialization, its just plain fun for them.
Junk food is fun, too. Therefore is unprotected sex. And lawn darts. And small cars produced by Koreans. And smoking dope in your mother-in-law's tub. And wearing a yarmulke for your neighbor's weekly Klan meeting. Browse here at anal beads for sale to learn how to see about it. This influential fifty shades of grey anal beads online site has numerous original cautions for why to ponder it. And starting a gift store and asking THEM to your gift. (Alright, so I am not really a JERK but I'm also a SICK JERK)
That's all for the time being, people!
