Make the most of your first meeting with your attorney. There is Bobby Tower, Hannah's ex husband who needs her back. The next step in weeding through your list of "potentials" is to set up a consultation with each lawyer.
Nobody can defend you like a good criminal defense attorney can. It doesn't matter what kind of case you are facing or hat kind of charges are against you, you deserve to have the best legal defense possible. Do yourself a favor and let a professional take care of all your troubles.
For minor cases like traffic tickets, where in fact the lawyer only will be negotiating a plea deal, this might maybe not matter just as much. Possible for me to express since we do this. Some disputes hinge on very subtle interpretations of the law or on a precedence from prior cases of the same nature. Either way, in depth knowledge of the law must be had in order to know what grounds you may have for getting your case dismissed. Since it is unlikely you know what to dispute, it is far better left to a defense attorney who has experience in dealing with criminal law.
