psoriasis

There’s no formidable clinical evidence that certain foods can impact psoriasis, but there is evidence that shedding extra weight can ease symptoms. Dieticians and doctors highly recommend a healthy, balanced diet to regulate your weight along with your psoriasis, as well as lower your chance of heart disease, diabetes, and stroke (which are elevated in people with psoriasis). The foundation of a nutritious diet is lean healthy proteins, low-fat dairy, whole grains, and veggies and fruits, says Heather Mangieri, RD, a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. http://www.mypsoriasistreatments.com/

I had decent knowledge with psoriasis growing up. I myself did not have the condition but a close friend of mine did. He handled his condition better than I would have, but he would continually be complaining about how much it itched, or how embarrassing it was. I grew to become interested in the sickness as a teen but after college it left my mind. This changed 3 years ago when my 15 year old child, Adam, started displaying the symptoms of the sickness. Since then it has been an uphill fight of trying to deal with his outbreaks. We have personally tried using at least 55 different products and remedies that have been recommended to me from various sources including health professionals, online message boards, and other blogs. I thought that sharing what him and I found with everyone else would be beneficial for anyone that suffer from psoriasis.
