The main purposes of this study are two-fold. First is to observe the microstructural characteristics and constituent phases of two coating layer treated in the alkaline electrolytes with and without ZrO2 particles. Second, the electrochemical responses of esophagus two samples immersed in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution were analyzed quantitatively in relation to the equivalent circuit model.
