The average powers of the four layouts are similar. However, their sensitivities differ from each other significantly. The evaluated results imply that the turbines need to be placed less regularly in order to reduce sensitivity and increase KW 2449 in situations with changing wind direction.
3.2. Complex terrain
The power optimization using greedy algorithm is halophiles applied to a complex terrain case. The topography and the computational mesh are plotted in Fig. 1. Considered wind condition during power optimization is 36 wind directions with speed at 12 m/s. The terrain contours and optimized solution are plotted in Fig. 4.
