2.2. Experimental set-up and operating conditions
The study was carried out in two parallel bioreactors (Fig. 1). Each one was made of plexiglass with YM-155 volume of 32 liters.

The filtration process utilized two flat sheet ultrafiltration membrane (UF) made of polyethersulfone (PES), which was placed in the center of each bioreactor. In Table 2 ultrafiltration membrane specification was shown.
