Piriformis Syndrome

Piriformis syndrome is a neuromuscular disorder. It is caused when the pirifimis muscle compresses the sciatic nerve. This muscle is important in lower body movements. Piriformis syndrome is unable us to walk, shift our weight from one foot to another, and maintain balance. It is usually start with pain or tingling. The pain is due to piriformis muscle compressing the sciatic nerve.
