Because of very low solubility of butanol in n-heptane, it should be considered as a cosolvent, distributing itself between the interface and the aqueous pseudo-phase. The presence of different cosolvents are found to accelerate the rate of alkaline hydrolysis of Fe(II) complex . Thus with increase in Z, number of butanol AR-42 HDAC incorporated into the water pool increases which further decrease the micro-polarity of the water pool. As the reaction is taking place mainly in the water pool hence is affected by the change in polarity of the thorns water pool.
