3. Results and discussion
The XRD pattern of hierarchical MoS2/SnO2 nanocomposites HA14-1 shown in Fig. 1. The peaks around 26.6°, 33.9°, 37.7°, 51.8° and 64.7° can be indexed to (1 1 0), (1 0 1), (2 0 0), (2 1 1) and (1 1 2) planes of rutile SnO2 (JCPDS PDF No. 41-1445), respectively [34], [35], [36] and [37]. The peaks around 14.5°, 32.6°, 39.5°, 49.7° and 58.2° can be indexed to (0 0 2), (1 0 0), (1 0 3), (1 0 5) and (1 1 0) planes of 2H-MoS2 (JCPDS PDF No.37-1492), respectively [19], [20], [23] and [33]. The peak around 14.5° corresponding to (0 0 2) crystal plane is anticodon very strong, indicating a multi-layer structure of MoS2[22]. The broadened diffraction peaks can be ascribed to the nanoscaled structures. There are no extra peaks corresponding to other possible impurities, indicating the high crystalline purity of MoS2/SnO2 nanocomposites.
