In this paper, a high recovery system named Low-Pressure Multi-Stage System (LMS) is described that is different from two-stage system which is commonly used to improve the recovery rate for SWRO [11]. First, the system advantage of LMS when applying a high recovery rate for SWRO is examined. Next, the KN-62 saving effect of LMS including low-pressure SWRO membrane, new ERD, and high efficiency large-scaled pump which are developed in Mega-ton project [12] and [13] is considered. Finally, the effect of reducing the CAPEX when constructing a large scale SWRO plant by using technology complete dominance has been developed in Mega-ton project including the modular construction method and high-pressure resin pipe [14] and [15] is described.
