The crystalline BaTiO3 particles have a core–shell structure such as tetragonal phase as core and cubic phase as shell [13]. As the particle size becomes small, the surface to volume ratio increases, leading to the stabilization of cubic BaTiO3.

The crystalline phases of all synthetic BaTiO3 powders were identified by X-ray diffraction (XRD; MiniFlex, Rigaku Co.) using CuK╬▒ radiation (30 kV, 15 mA) at room temperature.
