To reduce the operating temperature replacing the common YSZ

Especially broadband green afterglow has been observed in the SrA12O4:Dy3+ phosphors in the absence of the Eu2+ luminescent centers. It is found that Estradiol the green afterglow exhibits stronger intensity and longer lifetime if the sol–gel synthesis temperature of the SrA12O4:Dy3+ phosphors gets lower from 800 to 600 °C. The effect of the sol–gel synthesis temperature on the broadband afterglow of SrAl2O4:Dy3+ phosphors has been discussed in terms of thermally generated point defects in the phosphors.
