It is clear that the energy requirements for remanufacturing a diesel engine (proportion of 63.43%) are more than those for an LNG engine (36.57%) because a larger volume of crude oil is required in diesel production. The environmental impacts of GWP (34.38%), AP (20.72%), EP (20.47%) and POCP (35.96%) of an LNG engine are significantly reduced compared with its diesel counterpart.
