It can be seen from Fig. 4(b) that smoke emissions from the diesel engine using emulsified diesel are lower than those of pure diesel at all loads at 1500 and 2000 rpm. Operating at the speed of 2000 rpm, for emulsified diesel, smoke emissions decreased by 71.8%, 87.8%, 80.1%, 74.8%, 85.9%, respectively.
