In order to better understand the adsorption of rhodamine B, DRS studies were carried out. The DR spectra of the dye adsorbed materials (after dark adsorption with the 1 × 10−4 mol/L of dye solution) are shown in Fig. 8. The Maraviroc peak near 554 nm is attributed to the monomer form of rhodamine B, while the additional absorption peak near 520 nm, is ascribed to its dimerized form [43].
