Mardel Brasert The Brasert mardel Fig nbsp is situated

On the Luxembourger sandstone (code li2 in Fig. 2) natural mardels occur in tankyrase inhibitors holes, related to faults and joints in the sandstone formation. Good examples are found in the Esselbur (western of Beaufort). The (buried) paleosols in such sinkholes can be disturbed but are normally preserved.
On the Steinmergelkeuper (code km3 in Fig. 2) and Pseudomorphosenkeuper abandoned quarries occur as well as natural mardels in subsidence basins, caused by collapse after subsurface solution of gypsum lenses.
