The 42-year-old man identified as Anthony Graeme Humphrey, was apprehended by Warrnambool police in Australia after allegedly setting fire to his home while his partner was sleeping in the bedroom.
The fire caused more than $100,000 worth in damages to the home.
According to the police investigation, Humphrey and his partner were fighting around 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Police officers who arrived at the scene, arrested Humphrey after being accused of causing damage and assault.
Later that night, Humphrey violated a restraining order and went home then set fire to the home while his partner was sleeping in the bedroom.
During questioning, Humphrey told police that he burned down the home because he couldn’t keep up with cleaning.
At the Warrnambool Magistrate’s Court, Humphrey was charged with arson and life endangerment
