DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Minamata Convention on Mercury was formally adopted as international law on October 10th. The goal of the UN-backed treaty, adopted by 140 governments, is to reduce mercury emissions and phase out the use of the neurotoxin in products like dental fillings.
