The FESEM micrograph of the ball-milled powder mixture of the as-synthesized Y2O3 powder and the commercial Al2O3 powder is provided in Fig. 7. It can be seen that Sunitinib the calcined Y2O3 powder being weakly agglomerated was ground to fine nanoparticles after ball milling. The Al2O3 particles are larger than Y2O3 and the two powders are quite homogeneously mixed.

In order to identify the phase transformation, shrinkage and swelling behavior of the samples, size change and DSC curves of green bodies during sintering were measured (Fig. 8).
