Win luxury hotel stays with "The Charms of Thailand" video and photo competition

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) does a wonderful job offering regular competitions for foreign tourists to Thailand. Their latest competition, "The Charms of Thailand", runs from now until March 14th, 2012. Then, four lucky foreign tourist and four Thai tourists will win a 3-day 2-night luxury hotel package in Koh Samui, Phuket, Pattaya or Chumpon, Thailand.

Do you have photographs or videos of Thai dancers?

But these aren't just any hotel packages. If you win, you'll stay in a luxury one-bedroom suite at a Thai spa resort, that comes complete with a private swimming pool or Jacuzzi. Each suite overlooks the ocean, and all the packages include breakfast for two.

If you haven't stayed in a Thai spa resort before you have no idea of the luxuriousness of these places provide. Located on stunning beaches and in secluded gardens, you'll be able to sunbathe, swim, go sailing, paragliding, elephant riding, fishing, and enjoy any number of other fun delights.

At night, the surrounding area near each hotel is packed with restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as nightlife and shopping.

That's why, if you'll be in Thailand sometime in the next year, you should definitely enter "The Charms of Thailand" competition. (Airfare not included, of course).

All you have to do is submit either a photo or a video that illustrates one of four Thai 'charms' - the Wai (the way Thais greet you with their hands held in a prayer-style position) the Yim Siam (the Thai smile), Thai dancing (you'll see traditional Thai dancing all over Thailand) and the Pub-Pieb (the unique way Thais sit to the side and with feet facing to the back).

You can submit your photo or video at this website - The Charms of Thailand. Be warned, however, much of the English language on the website is not correct, so the instructions are a little confusing. Basically, all you have to do is register and submit your video or photo -- that's all you need to know.

You can also see what other people have submitted on The Charms of Thailand front page, both photo and video, if you need some ideas.
