Tractor Competition Serves As Rewarding Understanding Knowledge

Growing up in small town Wallis, TX, where in fact the tractors and blossom play an integral role in everyday life, it seems only right that restoring old tractors could turn into a passion for local Future Farmers of America (FFA) kids.

Inspired by that passion, two Wallis teens entered the 2005 Chevron Delo Tractor Restoration Competition, rendering it all the way for the event's finals in the National FFA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. The Tractor Restoration Competition advantages the dedication, business savvy and technical ability of high school-aged FFA members from around the country. Students are required to send a book that details the whole recovery process. Get more on this affiliated website by browsing to view site. The skills learned through your competitors help develop the individuals in-to future leaders in the agricultural area.
