Palma de Mallorca Airport is located about 9 km (5 miles) east of downtown Palma, Majorca. Getting To And From The Airport
Drivers can take highway Ma-19 straight from downtown Palma to the airport terminal exits. Arriving passengers can pre-book a reservation through Palma Airport Transfers and have a shuttle or private automobile driver meet them in the terminal hall. A number of rental car agencies have services desks on the ground floor of the arrivals hall, with vehicle pickup and drop-away at the itself. Certified taxi service is available for passengers arriving on a Palma air travel, and are found at curbside at the arrivals hall gate D region. Private shuttles can be hired to take travellers to and from all of the major resort resorts in the Palma area.
Palma de Mallorca Airport consists of a primary terminal hall and four different concourses. The primary parking garage is situated directly before the terminal hall and is conveniently accessed from the freeway exit ramps. Tunnels connect Level 4 of the garage to the departures region, and an automatic walkway links the passenger arrivals area to the car park. The parking region is auto-pay, with numerous pay stations located on the various floors of the garage area.
There are a number of good shops located within the terminal hall as well as the four concourse modules. These include Duty-Free, jewelry, shoes, presents and handicrafts, and pharmacies. Restaurants are available both in the public areas of the main terminal along with the departure modules areas (limited to ticketed passengers only). These establishments provide burgers, sandwiches, pizza and salads, and there are many beer gardens that serve great brands.
There are two VIP lounges at the airport terminal. The Formenter lounge is located on the departure level near the entrance to Module D and contains satellite TV, self-serve refreshments, meeting rooms and full web connection. The Miro VIP Lounge is found near the boarding region of Module B and can be free of charge for all business class travellers. It offers air-con, complete newsstand, telephone booths, and disabled access.

La Caixa Bank includes a branch in the international airport, and several ATMs are found through the entire airport facility. Forex services are provided. Lost luggage help is on the floor floor of the arrivals area. The airport provides superb WiFi and wireless web connection throughout the terminal facility, supplied by Telefnica de Espaa. Traveler's medical service, police station, and postal office are found on the second floor of the terminal hall.
