The hall as usual was filled with several eager reps ready to do business and succeed with their MLM plan. Following the soft cool music of "We are the globe..." died down the speaker mounted the podium and started to motivate the teaming distributors.
1 of the issues he said that I took to heart was "This is your business make certain you promote it everywhere you go... tell your family, inform your buddies, contact up your colleagues..."
I was fairly sure it was going to work given the enthusiasm of the speaker and literally all distributors in the hall. A number of years down the line performing all of those only ended up multiplying my struggling, rejection and frustrations.
It took me years of difficult function without any impressive result, no cash and piles of debts to spend to understand that the mantra "This is your business..." promoted at most MLM business opportunity meetings and training sessions is incorrect and not accurate. It is a business no doubt, but not Your business.
I have been in affiliate marketing for over 15 years now. Following a stint with our government and being educated in "comms" (communications) I started an affinity with the Web and took a strong interest in internet improvement. I loved the aspect of developing a website, the creativity of graphic design and much later, search engine optimization. Subsequent to my government employ, whilst working the regular job, nine-to-five, I began dabbling with Affiliate Advertising.
Affiliate advertising is basically selling someone else's item or service in order to acquire a commission on the sale. ClickBank was my first venture and it actually worked for a whilst. I distinctly recall making my first sale on-line and hopping up and down in my single-bedroom apartment so long ago. My dog believed I was totally nuts. But, it is truly a thrill.
Information security isn't usually the initial factor that most company owners believe of, but it truly should be. In this day and age where hackers run rampant, no information is safe, whether or not company or individual. Although this paints a bleak picture for business owners, it can open up a world of chance for trained information technology experts. As long as there is info that requirements to be secured, there is a need for someone to offer that security, and this is exactly where you step in.
So how does information theft translate into a company chance in the IT realm? Think about it this way... there is nearly no business these days that doesn't use computers. From storing customer information to making business plans and launching and maintaining a web site, there are any number of reputable business uses for computers. And each of these utilizes can be turned to the advantage of a skilled hacker.
