About five days ago, Apple pushed out iOS 9.0.2 (the second iOS 9 update). At the time, we discussed the possibility of an iOS 9.0.2 jailbreak, but what about approximately a week later, has anything changed? Well, interestingly, both TaiG and Pangu are working on a new jailbreak, and we may receive another utility for the first firmware to patch the iOS 8.4 jailbreak, being iOS 8.4.1!
As of now, the jailbreak devs are remaining silent during development to steer us away from confusing. However, for those on the final iOS 8 firmware, a solution may be closer than expected. Based on the vulnerabilities published by Pangu, a new jailbreak may yet arrive for iOS 8.4.1.
iOS 8.4.1 and iOS 9.0.2 Jailbreak Update
As for iOS 9 and its rootless security, we currently have three times the force working on the new jailbreak than we did last year for iOS 8. Having said that, the devs also appear to be focusing attention on iOS 9.1, which will likely drop the end of this month (see the above video for additional information).
As always, we will keep you posted with all iOS 9 jailbreak updates and information. Thank you for reading and don’t forget to bookmark us for more Apple and iOS 9.0.2 jailbreak articles.
