H2GO issues fuel Leland elections

<p>LELAND -- Jeff Gerken decided to run for one of a pair of open H2GO commissioner seats after hearing Jerry Pierce, Brunswick County's director of public utilities, speak at a February meeting.</p><p>That night, Pierce was discussing what the county was doing to meet current and future water needs, particularly in light of H2GO's plans to build a reverse osmosis water plant in Belville near Magnolia Greens and Waterford.</p><p>"He made it clear that there is absolutely no need for this reverse osmosis plant," Gerken said, "and that the county can supply all the water we're going to need in Brunswick County."</p><p>Along with Trudy Trombley, Gerken
