Is Psychology considered a Liberal Art?

As a psychology and sociology major I'll tell you that no psychology isn't useless. Usually it's the science andengineering related graduates that tell you that.

Psychology is a social science but it does fall under liberal arts.

Think about it psychology , the study of human behaviour , is needed in almost every profession you can think of , from law enforcement, to health care, to teaching , to the law itself, to architecture (sp), even to business, marketing , advertising , biology , bio-ethics , gerontology , you name it.

Even engineering students need psychology to help with how a building or invention or design will look or help.

I think psychology 's gotten a bad rap far too long.
