The Gray Cup

The Grey Cup is the name of both the title of the Canadian Football League and the name of the trophy (Cup) that's given to the successful group (The Grey Cup Winners). The Cup was given in 1909 by the then Governor General of Canada, Lord Earl Grey. The cup was to be recognized to the very best amateur rugby soccer team in Canada. Currently Canadian rugby had become acutely different from the rugby union soccer from which it began. For alternative ways to look at it, people can take a peep at: tiger termite. The Cup, over-time, became the home of the Canadian Football League, which will be called the CFL. To learn more, consider peeping at: http://tigertermite.com/blog/warning-signs-of-termites/. The CFL had changed and become a specialist league that played football. The university football teams compete now for that Vanier Cup. Recent changes in the group have brought about the consideration of changing the name of the Grey glass to the name of the recent years corporate sponsor. Traditionalists of the CFL have freely objected the theory, saying the Canadian Football group shouldn't trade a national and historical treasure for shore period league profit. Thus far the cup hasn't been renamed! When I mentioned earlier the cup was first found in 1909.
