The mixture cement were processed in a humid chamber kept at 95% of corresponding humidity and room temperature of 22 ± 2 °C. In the electrochemical tentative, the samples were manufactured for 15 days and in the compressive strength tests, the samples were stored in the chamber until the test day.
This phase is the desired time for the generation of hydration reactions of material,typical for the integral configuration of C-S-H, which provides concrete with high resistance.
The prismatic samples were erectly permeated to a depth of 6 cm in a 3.5% NaCl solution. For 4 days a week, the samples were partly absorbed in a NaCl solution and in the 4 following days in a experimental environment. After the 19th month of exposure of self drilling hollow bar, the solution concentration was promoted from 3.5% to 10%, with the target of boost the immersion of chloride ions into the concrete.
