I have a confession: meditation seriously stresses me out. Ive downloaded apps like Headspace, Digipill and Calm. Ive been to meditation seminars. Ive attended retreats.
The outcome is always the same: when I try to zone out, my brain zones in on hopes, dreams, or things I havent done. Within minutes, Im making to-do lists in my head, daydreaming about writing a trashy spy thriller, or wondering what type of boyfriend Headspaces founder Andy would be.
