In order to carry out the start-to-end beam simulation for the test facility, four simulation codes are demanded. At first, the beam optics code, ELEGANT, is applied to calculate the twiss parameters of some parts of the test facility like the LEBT bending section, the matching section for the RFQ, the MEBT section, and the SCL1. The twiss parameters are optimized along the facility by regulating the field strength of the quadrupoles for keeping the size of the beam smaller than that BV6 of the beam pipe radius, namely, avoiding the beam loss. Secondly, the 3D particle tracking code, TRACK, is used from the start of the LEBT section to the end of the SCL1. The result obtained by the code TRACK is considered as the baseline model in the start-to-end beam simulation of the test facility. Lastly, the RFQ design code, PARMTEQ, is employed for the simulation in the RFQ and the beam dynamics code, TRACEWIN, is for grasslands biome in the LEBT, the MEBT sections and the SCL1. Each result calculated by the code PARMTEQ and TRACEWIN is regarded as a benchmarking model.
