I'm a family dentist, practicing cosmetic and general dentistry in Chesapeake, where I live.
When I was in seventh or eighth grade, I wore braces. That was my first experience, really, with a dental family. I really liked my dental assistants, and they led me to the decision to do something in the dental field. It started out with my becoming a dental assistant, so I went to a vocational school while in high school, learning dental assisting.
