Sinorock self drilling hollow bar system has historically been accepted as a “self-drilling anchoring” due to the hollow fully-threaded bar can be used as both the drill tooling and the grouted anchor rod, thus installation is operated in a single procedure.
The versatile drill bit is installed onto the end of the Sinorock self drilling hollow bar and left in place following drilling requirements. The drilling substance (air, water, or grout) is introduced through the hollow bar and features the spoils for flushing from the borehole of self drilling anchor bar.
Sinorock self drilling hollow bar system is specially suitable for soils that do not allow for open-hole drilling (i.e. granular soils that are collapsible in nature). In such cases, drilling with a grout fluid fullfill the purpose of flushing spoils from the borehole and prevents looser, surrounding material from collapsing due to the higher relative density of the grout.
Sinorock self drilling hollow bar should be considered on any project demanding fast production that would otherwise need to involve a casing system in order to maintain borehole stability.
