Similar experiments have been performed with GSM, Fig. 5 and MIB (Fig. S2). Due to experimental restrictions, the concentration of GSM and MIB was set at 2 × 10−3, 0.2 and 1 mg L−1 (at higher concentrations the target analytes evaporated during the process). The concentration contrast has been selected for use as initial concentration for both GSM and MIB for all tested materials in order to compare their photocatalytic effectiveness toward these compounds was 1 mg L−1, being in the linear part of Fig. 5.
