CHILLICOTHE - An outdoors store has opened its doors for business on the city's east side in what was formerly a Bob Evans restaurant and offers a variety of items, including guns, archery and hunting equipment and clothing.
The Ohio Valley Trading Post, located at 1005 E. Main St., is the third store for the business, which also has locations in Athens and Lancaster. The business also operates two pawnshops in Athens and Nelsonville as well and there are plans to open a pawnshop in Chillicothe soon, said Steve Datchuk, store manager.
