Unfinished hard Adirondacks will usually flip a soft silvery gray. You'll want to mud these Adirondacks once a year, very slightly, with or 150 grit sandpaper. This is solely with the aim of "knocking down" any uneven fuzzy feed which may naturally occur as an effect of exposure to the elements. It will remove any bigger materials that may cause splinters and separate out. Additionally, it provides an appearance that is sleek and also to the Adirondack furniture. Do not sand during the gold to exhibit the natural shade of the timber. The purpose is not to take away the patina that is gold but to simply maintain it easy and looking great!
