Should hunting be considered a sport?

Even if you have a lot of other priorities for instance, sports, extracurricular activities, etc., still you need to complete a senior project to graduate successfully

I agree with those who say no!

To hunt for food to feed a family? Sure.

If you think of hunting as an activity pursued for exercise or pleasure, involving the testing of ones physical capabilities and taking the form of a competitive game such as football, tennis, etc, as a sport, ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Guys come in for brkfast dressed in "cammies," then head out to sit in a tree and wait for a deer to come around to eat the corn they spread on the ground at the bottom of the tree!

After killing a nice buck at 25 yrds they scream " great shot" and give each other a hi 5!!! I've listened to their stories.

Then the pride of the hunt, a beautiful 5 pointer, has it's head cut off and mounted above the fireplace mantle.

When friends come over beer is served and the great hunters brag about the great shot that brought "Bambi" down!

The meat is used, but the reason for the killing is not for the meat! It's for the sheer predatory pleasure of the kill. That is disgusting to me!
