DALLAS (Reuters) - Storms hit the U.S. South, Southwest and Midwest over the Christmas vacation weekend, unleashing floods and tornadoes that killed at least 43 men and women, flattened buildings and snarled transportation for hundreds of thousands for the duration of a active travel time.
