E-Z-EM appoints Joseph J. Palma vice president-sales.

WESTBURY, N.Y.--(HealthWire)--Feb. 3, 1995--E-Z-EM Inc. today announced that its board of directors has appointed Joseph J. Palma vice president-sales for the company.

Palma's responsibilities will include management of the company's salesforce and district managers in the rapidly evolving diagnostic imaging field, including Gastrointestinal Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, Mammography and Interventional Radiology.

Palma brings over 20 years sales/management experience in the Diagnostic Imaging and Pharmaceutical fields to E-Z-EM. He was previously director of sales for the Imaging Division of Berlex Laboratories in Wayne, N.J. Prior to that Palma was northeast regional manager with Wyeth Ayerst Labs in Radnor, Pa., where he was employed for 24 years.

Palma holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Manhattan College in Riverdale, N.Y., and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of New Haven in Connecticut. He currently resides in Kinnelon, N.J. with his wife Maureen. The couple has two daughters, Joyce and Patricia.
