Stephanie Kuleba was a cheerleader and honors student who hoped to

become a doctor. But like many teens, the 18-year-old Florida girl was

not completely satisfied with her looks. She decided to undergo plastic

surgery to correct a physical feature she disliked. During the

operation, Stephanie's body reacted to the anesthesia, or medicine

given during surgery to prevent pain, which resulted in her death.
