World Of Warcraft

I played World of Warcraft for almost two years. During, this period of my well being I ran a small guild, but was a notable PVPer on my small server Boulderfist. During those years we had the Honor System, not the token system that exists today.

I played just a little of the current token system, but never felt in your own home with it. This system allowed players to work as hard because they could to have the things they desired. Sure, the cons towards the honor system were that not everybody could obtain the rare armor, not everyone could play 15 hours each day to obtain enough kills and honor points to level up following the week. But, people who did like me were rewarded hamsomly.

I believe that the honor system to be superior towards the token system in everyway. As a high level officer I respected the Grand Marshals that I played with. But, people who did like me were rewarded hamsomly.

It took away the prestige of the game, it rewarded the ordinary and penalized the super elite class of pvpers which had developed through the honor days. . This was the reason why that I quit WoW, since it took away the only presitge offered in the game and opened it up to everyone.
