Tej Kohli firmly believes that if you are unable to learn from your mistakes, you may as well not start a company. Everybody makes them, but the more mistakes you make can result in greater success in the long run at it makes you a better business person. Making one mistake is forgivable – everybody is human. It only begins to look incompetent when the same mistakes are repeated. People find it difficult to admit mistakes, but this is mostly a cultural nuance. Making the wrong decision helps us to develop our judgement ability. Furthermore, people will give you more respect if you admit to an error as it shows that you take responsibility for your actions.
