Dwight Howard returns to Rockets after two months out with injured knee
Houston's Dwight Howard has returned from a 26-game absence, starting Wednesday night contrary to the New Orleans Pelicans.
The 6-foot-11 center contributed immediately, taking a no-look pass from James Harden around the baseline and throwing down a robust one-handed dunk for the Rockets' first points.
Howard, who's going to be 29 and his 11th season, hadn't played since Jan. 23, when he decided having a right knee injury. In 32 games in 2010, she has averaged 16.3 points and 11 rebounds.
