Using Frozen Embryo Transfer to Supplicate Pregnancy


Infertility can have many reasons but with modern medical innovations, the road to conceiving a child has become easy. A comprehensive process


The implantation of the frozen embryo is a simple process and does not need any simulation or culture. The cell is thawed on the lining of the uterus so that it immediately attaches itself and springs to life. One of the processes of embryo transfer involves thawing the cell in the laboratory under controlled condition before injecting into the uterus. Once frozen, these cells remain dormant and have an infinite period. They can be thawed and put back to normal at any stage. Patients can opt for it at any given period. They do not have to go through simulation and other extensive therapy every time they want to conceive.


Preparing the body


Success in the case of frozen embryo is same as IVF. The process is same after thawing. The cell will act in the same way even years after freezing. The only therapy you require prior to embryo transfer is estrogen injections to thicken uterus lining for holding the embryo. The therapy starts two weeks before the transfer. The ideal thickness is eight millimeter after which Progesterone injection is given. The transfer takes place between four to six days of injection progesterone. In the process, there are certain medicines to suppress natural ovulation. Estrogen, on the other hand, ensures that uterine lining is thick.
