Samsung Q2 2015 quarterly figures - Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge price reduction
Published today Samsung Q2 2015 quarterly results confirm the forecast that the company has set up at the beginning of the month. The smartphone sales are still not better and the overall turnover and the profit of the last three months have fallen again over the previous year. Business with memory, processors and TVs could nevertheless increased slightly. To increase sales in the smartphone sector again, Samsung has already announced a price cut for the new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Galaxy smartphones only weeks after the launch. Possibly also a response to the imminent presentation of Galaxy Note and Galaxy 5 S6 Edge + phablets.

The Samsung Q2 2015 quarterly figures show that smartphone sales have continued to fall over the previous year over the same period. Although the new Galaxy and Galaxy S6 S6 edge smartphones have achieved a slight increase compared to the 1st quarter, the expected breakthrough is not achieved. Total sales of Samsung was in the last three months, reaching 41.7 billion dollars which were 7% less than last year over the same period. The profit has fallen by 8% to 5.93 billion dollars.
