Global biodiversity of marine Isopoda abounds in new survey - National Paeleontology

Biologists from Australia and South Africa reported a new and detailed survey of the worldwide biodiversity of the crustaceans Isopoda in the open access peer reviewed journal Public Library of Science on August 31, 2012.

The underside of a male Bathynomus giganteus, a species of giant isopod captured in the Gulf of Mexico in October 2002.
