3.9. Dye adsorption value
For evaluate the amount of dye adsorption on the surface, the films were placed in the alkaline solution prepared from dissolving 0.05 gr NaOH in 100 ml distilled water. After 24 h, desorbed dye solutions were characterized by UV–vis spectra. The amount of dye adsorption depends on many factors such as the film porosity, thickness and particles size on the surface. It was found that TiO2 surface in S2 has the highest porosity on its surface and naturally it adsorbed dye Perifosine more than other samples. Also by increasing the TiO2 film thickness, dye adsorption will be increased that observed for sample No.2 compared with S1. The results are given in the Fig. 11.
