A good marketing strategy plan encompasses a variety of items to help you reach your goals. Let’s be honest with each other.  Our goal for pursuing network marketing is to increase our income, be debt free, to take trips at our leisure (and not to in-laws’ homes), to save for retirement, and to give our children a better life than what we had as a child.  Those usually are our ultimate goals and the driving forces for us to succeed on this lifetime mission.

Somewhere during this journey, you noticed others are doing the same.  You also noticed others that are lost and uncertain of their goals or mission.  To get past this major struggle that a lot of entrepreneurs encounter there needs to be a plan.

One way of doing this is to create good content that keeps them coming back for more. How do you accomplish that depends on what you have to offer.  Your offer should encompass a variety of things, including training, lessons learn, and testimonies, if there are any.  Now, to get to a place where others are visiting you site daily and supporting your endeavors you need to develop a successful marketing strategy plan or a successful marketing strategy  campaign.

Five Tips for Creating A Good Content Marketing Strategy
Tip 1: Goals

The best direction to take when creating good content marketing strategy is to establish your goals.   To me, this is a major part of any strategy.  Know what you want to accomplished and head in that direction.  Your goals should consist of  the following…

  • Your mission – what do you want to do.  Is it get qualified leads, generate more traffic to your site, or attract more customers.
  • Who do you want to reach – what individuals you want in your circle.
  • How will you do it – what marketing techniques you will use to accomplish your mission.
  • Metrics- how will you measure your return on investing (ROI).
Tip 2:  Plan Segments

In today’s world, we are very business and have limited time on our hands.  So we need to use our times wisely.  One way of doing this is to create plans in segments, some say stints or chunks.  Every teacher has to create a weekly plan for his/her class.  This weekly plan is laid out in daily segments.  For example, between 9:00 am and 10:00 am – Math, from 10:00 to 10:45 – Quiz, etc…They usually know what they will be doing on a day-to-day basis.

In addition to network marketing, I work a full-time job, I have two young beautiful children, and a great husband.  Just about every hour of my time is taken so I developed for me a plan segment chart I used to plan my time wisely weekly.   If you would like to review my content marketing strategy template, email me at [email protected] and I would send it to you.

Tip 3:  Flexibility

What I’ve found is that everything does not work according to plan so be prepare to make adjustments.  Prepare yourself for the unexpected and continue to move towards your goal.  You must be flexible and ready to make impromptu changes. As I mentioned, I develop weekly and sometimes biweekly plans that encompass all I need to do during those times.  As I accomplished those goals I marked them as completed and move towards the next goal.  This is where flexibility comes into play – anything I do not reach (and yes it does happens), I move it into my next weekly – biweekly segment.
