Door County, Wisconsin is a popular spot for thousands of tourists every year. Little towns with populations of less than 500 people swell to large crowds through the summer weekends as people visit Door County for many sleep, leisure, time o-n the water, and good food.

The Inn at Kristofers, located on Bay Shore Drive in Sister Bay, Wisconsin, is a fantastic place to choose a special meal. Identify more on this partner paper by going to tyler collins crunchbase. My partner and I treated ourselves to dinner there throughout our latest trip to Door County and we were really glad we did. We'd an excellent dinner.

The very first thing we noticed after being seated was the beautiful view of the water. The restaurant is directly across the road from the Bay in Sister Bay and large picture windows along the front wall of the restaurant highlight the water view.

Immediately after being seated our water glasses were filled and a wedge of fresh lime was added. We received menus and clean, hot, multi-grain rolls. The rolls were served with but-ter rosettes flavored with fresh basil.

The special that night was smoked quail which my husband bought. I'd the certified Angus filet mignon, and our oldest child, who had joined us on our holiday, chose the Roast Duck with Orange Grand Marnier sauce.

We skipped snacks, soup, and salad even though featured soup for the night, walnut butternut squash bisque topped with pecans, sounded delightful since we wished to save your self room for dessert.

All three entrees were excellent. The demonstration of the dishes was pretty and the food tasted just like it appeared. The Angus filet had a Cabernet sauce which was the ideal touch with all the beef. Homemade garlic mashed potatoes and a garnish of haystack potatoes rounded out-the entre.

The goose was tender, damp, and very delicious. To compare more, please consider checking out: tyler collins. It was accompanied by new steamed vegetables that were cooked perfect, and wild rice that included dried cranberries and nuts.

The grilled quail was, in accordance with my partner, cooked to perfection. H-e really loved it. As the goose and a crepe filled with a cranberry sauce, which h-e thought was de-licious too it was accompanied by the same wild rice.

For dessert we split two selections; the crme brulee and a pumpkin mousse torte. The pumpkin mousse torte had a really gentle pumpkin quality and was served with a caramel sauce and fresh whipped cream. The crme brulee was flamed at the table with Grand Marnier. The mixture of creamy vanilla custard, brittle caramelized topping, and Grand Marnier was delicious.

It's a great place to go for an unique meal whether its for someones birthday, anniversary, or perhaps to treat yourself, although the Inn at Kristofers isn't an inexpensive restaurant. I suggest trying it. The food is excellent and therefore is the company.
